Monkees 45th Anniversary Tour

The Monkees are going on tour to celebrate 45 years since their explosion onto American television in 1966. The An Evening with The Monkees tour kicks off in the UK this May before a wealth of  performances across the USA throughout the Summer.

'When they first cast us they had done so with the idea of putting together four guys who had an enormous amount of chemistry between them for the television show. From the get-go they wanted a spontaneous energy to go on between us and when we started shooting we were encouraged to be improvisational, which was great and it makes for really interesting television.'
