Eric Clapton auctions his guitars and, for the first time, his amps in aid of the Crossroads foundation.

Bonhams - The Eric Clapton Guitar & Amp Sale

Bonhams will be hosting a landmark auction on March 9, 2011 featuring over 150 of Eric Clapton's guitars and amps from his personal collection. The proceeds will be going to the Crossroads Centre, Eric's not-for-profit International Centre of Excellence for the treatment of alcohol and other drug addictions. The simulcast auction in New York and Los Angeles features a wealth of unique items, including a custom 2005 Zematis S22BP 3S favoured by guitarists such as Ronnie Wood and similar to models he played whilst in the Faces. It is the first time Clapton has donated his astounding collection of amps for auction. To see the full catalogue click here...
