Four decades after his songs formed the soundtrack for the anti-war movement during the US conflict in Vietnam, Bob Dylan is to play his first concert in Ho Chi Minh City on April 10, 2011. The price of each of the 8,250 tickets available is approximately £27 - more than the average monthly wage of most Vietnamese workers.

Four decades after his songs formed the soundtrack for the anti-war movement during the US conflict in Vietnam, Bob Dylan is to play his first concert in Ho Chi Minh City on April 10, 2011.

Tickets are available at approximately £27, more than the average monthly wage of most Vietnamese workers.

"The show is on," Brett Davis, a spokesman for the promoters said. Davis said the venue has a capacity of 8,000 and organisers are anticipating "a good mix" of foreign fans and Vietnamese.
